I am tall too and it is so hard to find maxi skirts or dresses that are long enough :( I have a couple and I'm super weird about not drying them - I don't want them to shrink! Anyway, I love that you were so resourceful and made your own. It looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteFellow tall girl...maxi skirts are tough. :( This looks fabulous though! Can't believe you made it.

It's so nice that you can make something for you to wear that is exactly the color and exactly the size you want and need! Sometimes what you want just can't be found in the mall clothing stores! Now, if only sewing clothes were really easy and didn't give you headaches... :P
ReplyDeleteGorgeous maxi! The pink really stands out...

I stand a 5'11" so I hear ya on maxi skirts! When I get back home to the States in a couple weeks sewing up some maxi skirts in on the top of my list because I too feel like they need to somewhat grace the floor. It's gorgeous, you did a great job!

I'm tall too and have yet to find a maxi skirt/dress that fits. It's so annoying! I love that you made it yourself, even if you think you should have saved yourself the trouble ;)
