With an Extra Hour

I feel like so much can be accomplished with an extra hour in a weekend. Sunday just seems so long. It was wonderful!

Friday, B and I had a night in and I made a Mexican Pizza inspired by Life as a Lofthouse (recipe posted tomorrow).

Saturday, B had his company's 5k, which he was partially in charge of. I just ran in it, and was the first girl to finish! I didn't have too much competition, but I was still pretty proud of myself!
Sunday, I woke up early and with my extra hour made breakfast: Pumpkin pancakes with maple cream cheese sauce (I will post my recipe on Wednesday). They were delicious!

Then with the energy from the pancakes I did a bunch or chores and errands, then finished sewing my white tulle skirt. I am thinking about wearing for engagement pictures next weekend (post about that later this week or next).
Meanwhile, I started watching Homeland. Oh my, that show is addicting!

We ended the weekend, similar to last, by making s'mores. This time in nacho form.

How was your weekend?

  1. Definitely wear the skirt! That's lovely.

I've been considering making pumpkin pancakes for two weeks, I'm anxious to see your method!
