The 4th

I hope everyone had a wonderful and safe 4th of July! Ours was a little rainy. It would rain for 30 minutes, then the sun would come out and we would get all hopeful and make plans, then it would rain again. Such a tease!

1) We walked downtown and grabbed a bite to eat at one of the few places that were open. We had the place to ourselves.
2) Since it was a holiday, and calories don't count, I decided to go with a big ol' hamburger and some sweet potato tots.
3) It rained. A lot.
4) We ducked in and caught a showing of the heat to avoid the rain. I would not recommend wasting 10 bucks to see it.
5) The rain made it hard to plan for fireworks, so we stayed in, made some sangria, and caught sporadic firework shows from our window.

    if it makes you feel any better, we did yard work! but we did get a hamburger for dinner :)

    Usually it rains where we are at every 4th of July, but we got lucky this year! It still looks like you had a wonderful 4th though (:
