This is an extra special Friday. It's extra special because we got to watch our beloved Baylor Bears get a HUGE win against OU. This is very unfamiliar territory for us Baylor Bears, but I am happy to be here for a while.

Holy crap, it's Friday already!?

This week has really gotten away from me, clearly, since I am posting my Friday Favorites post a little late. I blame Halloween. It threw me off. I spent all last night at the mall trying to come up with a costume for our party tonight. I will make one last ditch effort at the sale rack of all the party stores, and if I can't find anything I am going as this:

Friday Favorites

This week has been brutal. When you go on vacation, or are just away from your job for a while and then come back, isn't work so much harder? Granted, I would call the week I took off for the wedding a "vacation", but it wasn't work. And even though this is my second week back, it is just killing me. I'm sure I'll get back into the grove. But it doesn't help that work is especially rough this week

This week I have just be getting over my wedding hangover, which basically entails not planning anything, eating lots of sugar, drinking wine, and going through pictures a million times.

FAVORITE RECIPE
I've said it before, I'll say it again: fig and prosciutto were made for each other. I just wish I found this recipe before we had people over last week.

FAVORITE SHOW
So this isn't a TV show, but it is a Netflix show...and it is awesome. Derek is a new show by Ricky Gervias, and it is so heartwarming and unexpectedly funny. I highly recommend it!

FAVORITE OUTFIT
I don't know about you but I am so excited to break out the fall clothes, which might be evidence in some of the outfits I have been favoring lately. I am loving darker colors and especially anything black and white. Which is why I love Shanna's outfit!

FAVORITE POST
I typically avoid anything controversial on the blog. What can I say, I hate confrontation. But I admire people who step out there and make their opinions known, especially when they standing up for what they believe. Which is why I appreciated Jessa's post about the latest Miss America pageant winner and all the backlash she has been getting. How people can be so close-minded is beyond me.

Hey gang! I feel like its been ages since I have done a proper Friday Favorites! This week has been good. Busy but productive, which is good. I think I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel for my projects at work and the wedding.

I expressed my bafflement in all things pumpkin spice in this tweet, and clearly I was not alone. I could not agree with Erin's post more. Pumpkin spice Pringles?! Who thinks that is a good idea? I mean, I can get behind pumpkin spiced baked goods, like pies and cookies. I cannot get behind pumpkin spiced chips.

I am on a salad kick. Well, I wouldn't call it a kick. That would imply that it was a choice. I am on a strict salad diet. It may or may not have something to do with this wedding coming up. But salads can get boring, which is why I love the idea of this salad wrap from Pioneer Woman.

NY Fashion Week was this week, so the fashionistas were out in full force. There were so many beautiful outfits, that it was hard to choose a favorite. One of my favorites was this pleated leather skirt look from Nicholl. Such a lovely look for the fall.

FAVORITE SONG
This has been my favorite song for a few weeks, but since I haven't posted my favorites, I couldn't share it with you. The version of the song you have probably heard is the mixed version by Avicii. But really, I just like the vocals, which are which are by Aloe Blacc(who gets no credit on Avicii's version). I have loved Aloe's music for a while, so I was so excited to hear one of his songs (sort of) on the radio!
