If you know me, you know that I am one of those girls who loves shoes. Trust me. I know it's a
problem. Feel free to judge me how you'd like.
Now that that's out of the way, I want to share a shoe-related problem that's plagued me ever since stalkings came back in style (I'm looking at you Kate Middleton!). Maybe I am the only one that has this problem (though I doubt that's true), but wearing stalkings or tights with normal pumps is just downright frustrating. My foot slips and slides all over the place and its a struggle to keep the shoe on! And I feel like every Fall I go on this quest to find the perfect high-heel to wear with stalkings or tights and always come back empty handed.
Really, what I am looking for is a Mary Jane type pump with a strap
across the bridge of the foot. Not an ankle boot. Nothing with an open
toe. Less than $100. And preferably black with no platform (I'm tall enough). Guess what...not as easy to find as you might
think. This
fall I am widening my net a little bit to include morestyles that
aren't just Mary-Janes. Maybe this will finally be the year I have some
success.
I think the Bandolino Voice pump on the bottom right might be what I have been looking for. Actually, I take that back. The Michael Kors Mary Jane right above that one is what I have been looking for, but its about $100 more than I want to spend, so that's out. In my price range, the Bandolino is the winner. PLUS, through next week I can get $10 off and I have $10 rewards certificate for DSW, so it's $20 off. Doesn't get any better.

I agree! I can't wear any sort of tights with regular heels...but maybe the strap will help keep me from sliding out of them! I am loving your choices, especially the t-straps!
