Weekend Update

This weekend was filled with lots of relaxation time, absolutely no work (first in a while), some good and bad football games, and some great news!

On Saturday I got my hair done, which was much needed. Isn't it so relaxing to just go, sit in a chair, read a magazine or three, and get primped for a couple hours?

I might have also made a very spontaneous purchase that I may or may not regret later. I don't know why, I just couldn't pass up these gold loafers from ShoeDazzle.

We also went and hung out with B's parents to watch the Baylor-TCU game. And that is all I will say about that. All I can say is that I'm glad we didn't drive down to the game. I wish this was the Baylor-TCU game I was watching.

2011

Sunday we met some friends for brunch and found out that they are expecting a new baby!! We are so excited for them, but I sort of had a sneaking suspicion this was coming. And I have to say, I am glad that the baby will be here in time for the wedding!

After brunch, we decided to hit up a matinee of Argo. It is a great movie! I was on the edge of my seat for the last 30 minutes even though I sort of knew what was going to happen. I give it 2 thumbs up!
