My brain is on full wedding planning mode after this weekend. The next major project to tackle is to order, address, and mail the wedding invitations. We ordered some samples of our favorite sites to get a better idea of the quality of the paper and printing. Here are some of our favorite designs:
Clearly we have a small nautical theme going here. They all are beautiful and I am happy with the quality, so the bottom line will come down to price. We thought about trying to do the invitations ourselves, but after doing the save the dates ourselves, we don't want the stress!
Which one is your favorite? Did you make your own invitations?
I love numbers #3 and #5. I actually made our invitations myself, but only because I got so overwhelmed by how many options are out there - and how expensive they are!
ReplyDeleteThe second one is my favorite, and the fifth one is cute too!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting :D
I'm liking the 2nd one! And yes, we made our invites. In retrospect I wish we hadn't due to stress.
ReplyDelete3,5, and 6 are my favorites! And it's definitely worth the money to order them - there's many other things you can "spend" your stress on!
ReplyDelete4 and 5 remind me of you! I love 3 too but from some of the pictures it looks like you're going a tad bit more formal than that invitation portrays.
ReplyDeleteI think the minted is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe last one with the watercolor is so unique and beautiful! It's definitely non-traditional but I love it.
ReplyDeleteI think that we're going to go with Minted. I love #2 up there!
ReplyDeleteWe got our invites from Wedding Paper Divas and the process was so simple! The price really wasn't that bad either. There was no way I was going to make my own...just deciding what we wanted took forever so I never wanted to see an invite again lol. I am diggin' #1 & #5 :)
ReplyDeleteI love one, two, and three!
ReplyDeleteWe ordered ours, I forget where I got them, but they were square and reasonable.
3 is very cute and trendy (almost chalkbaord style) but do also the love the more traditional ones, I guess favorite would be number 2! A mix of both worlds :) We bought ours from Michael's Craft store, but we had 300 hundred guests so if less we could have made them! Following you from the hop :)

ooo those are all beautiful! I'm personally drawn the the 2nd option the most.
ReplyDeleteWe did make our invitations! You can see them here:

They were definitely super time consuming (cutting, gluing, drafts and drafts...) but we were really happy with them in the end!
My favorites are #2 and #6 (both from Minted) but they all look great!
ReplyDeleteOMG I love 2 and 5. So cute!
ReplyDeleteI kind of like the third one down!! :) It's fun, but elegant and classy at the same time! We created our own, with the help of my husband's cousin who designs things!

2 and 3 are my favorite! I created my own on Vistaprint after getting some ideas off of other websites. It was much cheaper that way!
