Electric Slide

Guess what ya'll! It didn't rain this weekend! This might be the first weekend all summer that rain hasn't been in the forecast!

We tried to take advantage of the clear skies and sunshine and spent as much time outside as possible.

 

1. Friday night we tried something a little different and made prosciutto and fig pizza. It is definitely a recipe we will be making again. 

2. Saturday morning while B was out golfing, I got my hair done. 

3.  After golf and my hair appointment, B and I met up for drinks at a roof top bar. They had misters blowing, reggae music blasting, and were serving up  some nice sangria. I felt like I was sitting on a beach somewhere. 

4. Saturday evening, B and I took the lightrail uptown to for dinner and a movie at Studio Movie Grill. We saw Red 2, which was actually pretty fun. If you liked the first one, you will like #2.

5. After the movie, I grabbed some fro-yo and we walked around Uptown.

6. During that walk, we ran into a spontaneous Electric Slide dance party. 

Uptown Charlotte was pretty hopping Saturday night. There were lots of people out and things going on, so it was just fun to walk around and see what was up.

Sunday, was pretty low key, thus the lack of pictures. We went to church, grabbed lunch with friends, ran some errands, then stayed in and made dinner. Nothing special.
