B was off in Austin this past weekend for his bachelor party. One of his buddies is on Instagram, so every once and a while I would catch a glimpse into the "debauchery". Clearly, him and I had VERY different weekends.
My weekend:
1. Friday night, I enjoyed a nice bottle of wine and indulged in some light reading.
2. Since B wasn't here, I binged on Orange is the New Black. Literally binged. I watched the entire first season.
3. I did have to do some work this weekend, but I did as much as I could outside, enjoying the beautiful weather.
4. Saturday evening, I took a trip to the mall to try on rehearsal dinner dresses. My favorite was this Ted Baker dress...just not sure if I want to spend $400.
5 & 6. Sunday, I attempted 2 classic French recipes: crepes and macaroons. The crepes were super easy and delicious! The macaroons were a little tedious, but I am proud do say they actually turned out okay. I filled mine with lemon curd since I didn't want to bother making buttercream.
His weekend:
1. Barbeque.
2. Guns.
3. 4-wheeling
4. Beer
5. Beer, Icees, Cheetos, Makers, Red Bull, jelly beans. Naturally.
6. Chicken and waffles: hangover cure.

I think the macaroons look gorgeous! What recipe did you end up following? xx
ReplyDeleteHA! the contrast is so perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI love the his & hers weekend in photos. Looks like you both had a pretty good weekend! Can't lie though, yours is a little more up my alley although I'm not opposed to a little 4-wheeling and shooting. haha. I just finished Orange is the New Black last week. I loved it! Can't wait for season 2! :)
ReplyDeleteOh I love that dress on you! But agreed $400 would be pretty hard to do.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Like the comparison photos. Looks like you enjoyed your weekend, I'm jealous of your beautiful weather, we have had hot and humid temps in the 90's this past week.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Orange is the new black!! Cannot wait for the next season! And that dress looks fantastic, but a $400 price tag is rough. Keep looking and if you can't find something you love just as much, maybe it will go on sale...? We can dream.
ReplyDeleteThat dress is stunning, but holy moly, $400?! You could buy a lot of shoes with that money...!
ReplyDeleteOITNB is fabulous. I did the same thing when I started watching it--just went for it and had it finished way quicker than I should've! Did you like it?
lol! i want his weekend!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha..typical his and her weekends! I've heard nothing but good things about that show..I think I need to watch it.
ReplyDeletei totally binged on orange is the new black too... i am obsessed with that show!
ReplyDeleteI love that Ted Baker dress on you. Absolutely gorgeous, but I can understand not wanting to spend the money.
