Bridesmaids

Maybe it seems really trendy, but I really like the look of (and the overall principle behind) bridesmaids who are all wearing a different style dress. Everyone is shaped differently or has different style preferences, so this allows each girl to pick what they like best.

And I know EVERY bride says this, but I really (REALLY REALLY) want the girls to be able to wear their dresses again. They can even wear them before the wedding if they want.

Therefore, my criteria for bridesmaid dresses are as follows:

• Navy
• Knee-length
• Comfortable
• Preferably not taffeta or any other shiny fabric

For the shoes, its pretty easy: nude or light pink. They can be heels or wedges. Can be strappy, open-toe, closed-toe, platform, t-strap...whatever!

I really like the classic look of navy, nude, and white. I will definitely be adding pops of color. Either in the flowers or the accessories. But since we are getting married next the the water, I thought the "nautical" look was appropriate.
